Selene Saraf, Dentist

Dr. Selene Saraf was born and raised in Vancouver, WA, beginning her academic journey at the University of Washington. She then went on to attend the University of New England, where she received her DMD degree.

Motivated by a genuine love for connecting with people, Dr. Saraf chose dentistry as her career path to engage with patients, work with her hands, and provide valuable assistance to those in need. However, it was her deep connection with children that truly set her on the path to becoming a kids' dentist.

Having always been a 'kid at heart' herself, she finds immense fulfillment in creating a positive and comfortable environment for her young patients. Her commitment to fostering a relaxed atmosphere helps children develop a positive attitude towards dental care from an early age.

Throughout her career, Dr. Saraf has held various roles that allowed her to interact with children in meaningful ways. These experiences solidified her belief in the importance of early dental care and inspired her to specialize in children's dentistry. Today, she is dedicated to making dental visits enjoyable, educational, and stress-free for both children and their parents.

Dr. Jennifer Vyas, Dentist

Dr. Jennifer Vyas is excited to work with the Maumee and surrounding communities in helping young patients maintain healthy smiles!

She knew she wanted to pursue dentistry while studying Molecular and Cellular Biology and Business Management at the University of Arizona. During her time there, she was mentored by a local dentist with whom she volunteered.

She quickly found dentistry to be an exciting field that combined her passion for health sciences and artistry. She then completed her dental education at the University of the Pacific.

After working primarily with adult patients for a few years, Dr. Vyas began working with young patients in 2010. She has not looked back since!

Dr. Vyas takes pride in being able to relieve patient discomfort and enjoys educating patients and parents in how to prevent dental disease. Her personal goal is to make each dental visit as pleasant as possible, striving towards positive experiences that enable children to grow into adults that do not fear visiting the dentist.

Secret Talent Dr. Vyas loves all things artistic. She is currently learning to play the guitar. This attention to detail and nimble fingers, is part of why she is a great kids dentist.

Favorite Musician She loves John Mayer. As she is learning to play guitar, it only increases her admiration of his talents.

Being a Kids Dentist Dr. Vyas favorite part of working with kids is she is constantly entertained by great stories the kids tell. Plus she can wear fun scrubs to work!

Marilyn Tago, Dentist

Dr. Marilyn Tago grew up in American Samoa in the South Pacific. She feels right at home being at a busy office like Ohio Kids Dental having come from a family of 7 plus a ton of cousins.

Dr. Tago moved to the United States to attend college at Union College in Lincoln, Nebraska. She excelled there majoring in both Psychology and Biomedical Science. After graduation she worked as a social worker in Child Protective Services.

She knew she liked helping kids, but decided that being a kids dentist was her calling, She went on to earn her DDS at Loma Linda University in California.

Dr. Tago enjoys being a dentist at a practice that focuses on kids. “Kids bring me joy. Their enthusiasm is contagious. Fear of the dentist is learned and can easily be explained and calmed through compassion and communication.” She enjoys being able to help parents teach their kids how to have a lifetime of great oral hygiene habits.

She is an active member of the American Dental Association and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.

Giving Back Has traveled on mission trips (Fiji, etc.) to provide dental care.

Nikki Denham, Dentist

Dr. Nikki Denham was born and raised in Temecula, California. She headed to UC San Diego for her undergraduate studies, earning a degree in Human Biology, before continuing her education at A.T. Still University's Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health, where she received her DMD. She's excited to serve the Hamilton community at Ohio Kids Dental.

Dr. Denham loves to laugh, and that's exactly why she chose pediatric dentistry. She wants to see every child grow up smiling and laughing without insecurities. She finds kids to be endlessly brave, and says it's always easy to find the brightness in the day when you're working with them.

Outside of the office, Dr. Denham shares her home with her husband and her adorable dog, Scotty.

Dean Doan, Dentist

Dr. Dean Doan was born and raised in Orange County, California. He liked the Southern California lifestyle and went on to attend the University of California, San Diego. There he earned his BS in Human Biology.

He knew he wanted to be a doctor, and immediately enrolled at Midwestern University in Arizona and graduated with his DMD in 2015. He was also awarded 'Most Likely to be a Ninja' by the Class Council. He then went on to focus on serving children, receiving advanced training and completing his pediatric dental residency at the University of Buffalo.

Dr. Doan loves working with kids, and is truly a kid at heart. Don't be surprised if you find him speaking at length about video games and cartoons with his young patients. He feels he is able to help kids avoid more serious dental issues later in life by establishing good oral hygiene habits when they are young. Working with kids also allows him to have fun and laugh.

Aaron Kamp, Dentist

Dr. Aaron Kamp was born and raised in Northern California, so it's no surprise he developed such a love of the outdoors. He attended Northern Arizona University, but his initial path wasn't dentistry. Dr. Kamp graduated with a B.S. in Nursing.

After graduation he got a job working in the pediatric department of UMC Tucson. While being exposed to many different situations in a world-class facility like UMC, Dr. Kamp found himself developing an interest in dentistry. After almost a decade of nursing, he enrolled in dental school.

Dr. Kamp earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the State University New York at Buffalo in 2009. He knew he wanted to stay focusing on treating kids which led to him joining Ohio Kids Dental.

He likes working with kids because it allows him the chance to have fun while having a lifetime impact on a child's health. He enjoys that he can focus on preventing problems by teaching parents and kids proper oral hygiene habits.

Cayce Wallace, Dentist

Dr. Cayce Wallace is a board-certified pediatric dentist and has been setting the highest standards in kids dentistry since 2010. Born and raised in Mississippi, Dr. Wallace attended Mississippi College where he played baseball and received a B.S. degree in Medical Biology.

He attended Dental School at the University of Mississippi and completed specialty training at the Batson’s Children’s Hospital in Jackson, MS. Dr. Wallace was named Chief Resident and became a diplomat for the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Wallace has focused on developing his skills to combine exceptional dentistry in a fun and relaxed environment. He believes that good oral health requires educating the child and parent at an early age. He brings passion and energy to provide the kids of the community the service they deserve.

Dr. Wallace is an active member of many of the leading dental organizations, including the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, & the American Dental Association.

Brandi Tiner, Dentist

Dr. Brandi Tiner was born and raised in Texas and went on to study at Texas A&M University with not one, but two BS degrees in Biomedical Science and Nutritional Science-Dietetics. Dr. Tiner continued her education at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, graduating in 2002 with a DDS.

Armed with her medical license, Dr. Tiner served at Fort Bliss in El Paso. She then went on to private practice at a general dentist’s office. But something just wasn't right. She was wondering if being a dentist maybe wasn't for her since going to the office seemed like a job versus her passion.

After reflection, she realized she loved dentistry, but it was helping kids that she truly loved. That is when Dr. Tiner decided to go into children’s dentistry in 2012.

It is no surprise that she was drawn to working with kids since she has 6 of her own.

Jason Leach, Dentist

Dr. Jason Leach was born and raised in Jackson, MS. He is proud of his Alma Mater, Ole’ Miss, having earned both his undergraduate degree and his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Mississippi.

Dr. Leach believes in providing the children he serves with the very same treatment he would want his own kids to receive. By all the smiling faces in his dental chair, we think he is succeeding!

A leading dentist in our mobile dentistry outreach program, Dr. Leach is passionate about helping families access critical preventative services for their children. This program partners with our local schools and Head Starts to help improve health outcomes for the children they support.

In the mobile program and at the office, Dr. Leach encourages healthy habits that will prevent tooth decay in Ohio children.

Christopher Lind, Dentist

Born and raised in Lehi, Utah, Dr. Christopher Lind earned his undergraduate degree from Utah Valley University before completing his Doctor of Dental Medicine at the University of Las Vegas. Known affectionately by many patients as “Dr. Elmo,” his spot-on Elmo impression—and other silly voices—help put kids at ease and turn dental visits into something to smile about.

When he's not caring for patients, Dr. Lind stays busy with his growing family, which includes six children and two (soon to be more!) grandchildren. Outside the office, he enjoys golfing, watching movies, traveling, and jamming out to his favorite music.

With a heart for families and a talent for making dentistry fun, Dr. Lind is proud to create a space where smiles come easy—even for the tiniest patients.

Malisa Yu, Dentist

Dr. Malisa Yu hails from Baltimore, MD and loves making her home here in Hamilton, OH. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Neurobiology from the University of Maryland before going on to complete her DDS from Howard University. She is a proud member of the American Dental Association.

Dr. Yu loves working with kids because she gets to watch them grow from their very first birthday through college, and she finds it incredibly rewarding to be part of that journey. Her philosophy? Start healthy habits early!

Samual Kang, Dentist

Dr. Samual Kang loves helping children build healthy smiles while creating positive dental experiences that last a lifetime. Originally from Seoul, South Korea, and later raised in Maumee, Ohio, Dr. Kang brings a caring, patient-centered approach to every visit and enjoys getting to know each child as an individual.

Dr. Kang earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Amherst College before going on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Columbia University. His passion for dentistry comes from the unique combination of hands-on care and the opportunity to teach children healthy habits that will benefit them for years to come.

One of Dr. Kang’s favorite parts of pediatric dentistry is helping children feel comfortable and understood. He believes every child is different, and he enjoys finding ways to help each patient feel safe, confident, and excited to return for future visits.

Lucas Bishop, Dentist

Dr. Lucas Bishop was born and raised in Mobile, AL. He attended Mississippi College, where he earned a degree in Biomedical Sciences, before pursuing his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.

Dr. Bishop chose dentistry as his career path because he wanted to help others find relief from pain and regain their sense of normalcy. Outside of the office, Dr. Bishop enjoys spending time with his two cats, Tokyo and Kyoto.

His dental tip for patients is to invest in a tongue scraper and make it part of their routine.

Eric Chen, Dentist

Dr. Eric Chen brings a wealth of expertise and a genuine passion for patient care to Ohio Kids Dental. Originally from Taiwan, Dr. Chen moved to Los Angeles at age 13. He went on to earn his undergraduate degree from UCLA, followed by his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. He then completed an advanced three-year Implant Residency, and a Dental Anesthesiology program at NYU - where he served as Chief Resident for both the Implant and Anesthesia programs.

Dr. Chen is a board-certified dental anesthesiologist, and holds the distinguished designation of Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Anesthesiology. He is a proud member of the American Dental Association and American Society of Dentists Anesthesiologists. His advanced training means your little one's comfort and safety are always in exceptionally skilled hands.

When he's not caring for patients, Dr. Chen enjoys spending time with his family and dog.

Maya McFrazier, Dentist

Dr. Maya McFrazier was born and raised in Frankfort, Kentucky, Dr. Maya McFrazier is passionate about helping children build healthy, confident smiles from an early age. She earned her undergraduate degree in Public Health from the University of Louisville before continuing there to receive her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree.

As a pediatric dentist and a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. McFrazier is dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality dental care tailored to each child's unique needs. Her own positive experiences growing up with a caring dentist inspired her to pursue dentistry, with the goal of creating the same welcoming, encouraging environment for her young patients.

Dr. Abby Musgrave was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio. She stayed close to home for her education, earning her undergraduate degree from Ohio State University before continuing on to earn her DDS, also from Ohio State University. She's excited to stay in her home state and serve the families of Springfield with quality dental care.

Growing up, Dr. Musgrave spent plenty of time in the orthodontist's chair, and that early, up-close view of dental care is exactly what drew her to the profession. She loves working with kids because it gives her the chance to make a lasting, lifelong impact on their smiles and their confidence. She's an active member of the American Dental Association.

Tae-Young Uhm, Dentist

Dr. Tae-Young Uhm brings a love of science, art, and people to the Ohio Kids Dental family. Born and raised in Greenville, South Carolina, Dr. Uhm earned her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from UT Austin before going on to receive her Doctor of Dental Surgery from UT Health San Antonio. She is a member of ASDA San Antonio and the Christian Medical and Dental Association. Dr. Uhm is also a distinguished award recipient, having earned the Kenneth Stewart Memorial Award, the Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) honor, and the Southwest Academy of Restorative Dentistry Award.

Dr. Uhm chose dentistry because she wanted a career that combines science, art, and helping people. When it comes to kids, she's completely in her element: giving out stickers, high fives, and chatting about favorite princess or superhero movies are just part of the everyday adventure. She brings that same playful, warm energy to every appointment, making sure each child feels seen, celebrated, and comfortable from the moment they walk in.

Aaron Lucki, Anesthesiologist

Please join us in welcoming Dr. Aaron Lucki to Ohio Kids Dental! Dr. Lucki is originally from Columbus, Ohio. He earned his BS from The Ohio State University in 2019 and his DMD from the University of Pittsburgh in 2023. He is a member of ASDA, ADA, and ODA.

Dr. Lucki chose dental anesthesiology because he wanted to take the fear out of the dentist's chair. He is especially focused on kids who can't otherwise get the care they need. His goal is to turn a traumatic experience into a calm, safe one.

Huda Aziz, Anesthesiologist

Dr. Huda Aziz is a dentist anesthesiologist with one of the most impressive academic journeys you'll find in the field. Born and raised in Strongsville, Ohio, Dr. Aziz earned his Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from Case Western Reserve University, and then kept going. He went on to complete three master's degrees: a Master of Arts in Bioethics from Case Western Reserve University, a Master of Biomedical Sciences from Rutgers University, and a Master of Science in Oral Biology from New York University). He then earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry, graduating Magna Cum Laude, before completing his Anesthesia Residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.

Dr. Aziz is a member of the ADA, ASDA, ADSA, ASA, and the Ohio Dental Association, and has been published in the peer-reviewed journal Anesthesia Progress.

Dr. Aziz became a dentist anesthesiologist because he wanted to make a meaningful difference during some of the most vulnerable moments in a child's life. His tip for families?
